Workshop/photo course; birds and nature of the north

6 days workshop and photocourse at Øytun folkehøgskole, Alta, Norway, with 3 days trip to the Puffin bird colony at Loppa island. We will give you exiting days and a wonderful experience with a lot of photo oppurtuneties. This island has probably most different bird spieces of all similar nesting-places in Norway. In addition; the landscape is also great! The timing is also good: in mid June the bird activity is peaking and the nature looks green and fine, but mostly - the light is the best with midnight sun and 24h photography.
We will also travel to a gannet colony close to The North Cape.
The
2010 course starts 27th May at 12.00 noon and end 2nd June at 12.00 noon. Program in norwegian.

(Airlines: Norwegian and SAS Braathens). From the airport in Alta you can order a taxi to the school, or we can arrange for a pickup.
You will need personal equipment like sleeping bag, mat, clothes for outdoors, good hiking booths, backpack and of course your SLR camera. Both digital and film is ok, but for best instant feedback we recommend digital. You will want to have lenses for both tele (300mm +) and wider angle for landscape work.
